Job Summary
Here at Joinery & Heritage Joinery , we restore and paint sash windows in both commercial and domestic properties nationwide. We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes to sash windows. The Painter will work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a CSCS card and be able to provide two work references prior to interview due to the nature of the job.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Select appropriate paint types and colours based on project specifications.
- Apply paint using brushes to achieve desired finishes.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Follow guidance from our Operations Manager or client and adhere to project timelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Strong painting skills with experience in various techniques and applications.
- Ability to drive to different job sites as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively on multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
