Experienced Motor Mechanic Required

Position: Motor Mechanic Working Hours: 9am till 6pm Monday – Saturday (Full-Time)

Location: Lye

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate must be confident in carrying out a wide range of vehicle repairs and servicing, with particular expertise in timing chain and timing belt replacements.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance.
Replacing and repairing timing chains and timing belts to manufacturer specifications.
Conducting engine repairs and related mechanical work.
Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a motor mechanic.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
Ability to independently carry out timing chain and timing belt replacements.
Experience working on petrol and diesel vehicles.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Ability to work well within a team and under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
