Event Stewards – Birmingham Events Venue
£13.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | Flexible Event Work

Bridgegate Security is recruiting Event Stewards to support one of Birmingham's most exciting large-scale event venues.

This is an opportunity to be part of a major venue operation that will host live entertainment, sporting events, club nights, private functions, and large-scale public events throughout the year.

No previous experience is required. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals who enjoy working with people and can help create a safe, welcoming environment for visitors and guests.

The Role

As an Event Steward, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of events by assisting customers, monitoring designated areas, providing information, and helping maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

You will be part of a larger team working closely with venue management, event organisers, and security personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting and assisting visitors and guests
Providing directions and information around the venue
Monitoring designated areas and reporting concerns to supervisors
Supporting crowd management and customer flow
Assisting with entry procedures and ticket checks where required
Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment throughout events
Acting as a positive and professional representative of the venue

What We're Looking For

Strong communication and customer service skills
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working within busy event environments
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Team-focused attitude and willingness to learn

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, events, or stewarding is beneficial but not essential.

What We Offer

£13.00 per hour, paid weekly
