Summary

We are seeking a Children Residential Support Worker to join our caring team in GB. Based in our residential homes, you will play a vital role in supporting young people's emotional well-being, development, and transition into independent living or returning home. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while advancing your career in social care.
Responsibilities

Provide compassionate support and supervision to children and young people in residential settings.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages personal growth.
Support young people with their emotional behaviour and life skills development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care.
Maintain accurate records of care activities and progress.
Assist with daily activities, including educational and recreational pursuits.
Uphold safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable young people.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children or in a childcare setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
Valid driving license is desirable.
Knowledge of care planning processes.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare are preferred.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility and resilience in challenging situations.
