Location: Edgbaston/Bearwood, West Midlands (Remote Field-Based Role)

Key Requirements

Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle — essential
Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, school holidays, Easter, Christmas, and peak summer periods
Excellent reliability, communication skills, and a genuine passion for cats and animal welfare
Comfortable working independently and travelling between customer homes
Good written English and confidence using WhatsApp to provide customer updates
DBS check required (or willingness to undergo one)

Have you ever thought about getting paid to care for gorgeous cats while their owners are away?

Kitty Angels is a friendly and growing pet care business providing professional cat sitting services across the West Midlands. We pride ourselves on delivering a safe, caring, and reliable service for pets in their own homes while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable team environment.

We are looking for trustworthy, caring, and flexible individuals who are passionate about animals and enjoy working independently.

The Role

Our cat sitting visits typically last between 20–30 minutes and take place in customers’ homes. Responsibilities include:

Feeding and refreshing water
Cleaning litter trays
Providing playtime, affection, and interaction
Administering medication where required (full training provided)
Sending customer updates and photos via WhatsApp after each visit
Carrying out light household tasks such as bringing in post and watering plants

While the majority of visits involve cats, we may occasionally care for other small animals including rabbits, chickens, fish, and reptiles (no dogs).

What We’re Looking For Essential

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Strong reliability and time management skills
Good written English and confidence using smartphones and WhatsApp
Genuine love of cats and animal welfare
Ability to work independently and travel between appointments
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy holiday periods
Willingness to complete a DBS check

Desirable

Previous experience in animal care or pet sitting
Experience administering animal medication, including tablets or injections
Customer service experience

Important Information

This role is highly seasonal, with the busiest periods occurring during:

Summer holidays
Easter
Christmas
Weekends and school breaks
