Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the smooth running of our operations.

Duties

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and assembly tasks
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications
Conduct equipment assembly, installation, and commissioning as required
Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely to move parts or machinery components
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Experience

Proven experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and assembly procedures
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
Experience with equipment repair in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
