Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about fire protection systems and design technology. The successful candidate will assist in developing detailed sprinkler system layouts, collaborating with senior designers, and contributing to innovative fire safety solutions. The position is ideal for those looking to develop their career within the fire protection industry.

Duties

Assist in creating detailed fire sprinkler system designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation
Develop schematic diagrams and technical drawings for fire suppression systems
Collaborate with senior designers to ensure designs meet project specifications and safety standards
Contribute to system design development by preparing schematics and technical documentation
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine drawings
Assist in the preparation of construction documents and technical reports
Maintain organised digital files of project drawings and schematics

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and ArchiCAD
Experience with 3D modelling tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SolidWorks is highly desirable
Knowledge of schematic design and system layout for fire sprinkler systems
Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawing standards
Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams effectively
Basic graphic design skills for presentation purposes
Familiarity with system design principles within the fire protection industry is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
