Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dry fit installing kitchens and or fitting wall boards around the bathroom suite.

Our carpenters at the moment are cladding one bathroom or fitting one kitchen a day in social housing properties. All materials will be dropped out on site to the property and start time is 7;45am-8am until your job is complete. Price is per job, starting at £250.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication or carpentry to apply their expertise in a dynamic construction environment. The position involves working with a range of tools and materials, ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times. Candidates should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Install fittings and fixtures in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or construction-related roles
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as masonry or plumbing tools
Knowledge of carpentry, joinery is needed
Experience in lifting operations within a construction environment
Previous involvement in construction painting or finishing works is advantageous
Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality at all times.

Pay: £250.00-£300.00 per day
