What the role is.
A rare and challenging opportunity to lead an entire asset management function at scale, covering capital investment planning and execution, stock condition appraisals, sustainability, data systems, and estate planning. You ll set the long-term strategy and drive it into delivery, working alongside the Chief Property Officer and Director of Repairs and Maintenance. You ll be a steward of data and decisions that directly affect the quality and safety of thousands of people s homes. What you will lead.
Strategy and investment - 3-to-5-year capital programmes, options appraisals, and long-term financial planning to meet Regulatory requirements.
Cross-team collaboration - Strong focus on proactively assessing and managing the impact on and from the Repairs Team, ensuring effective partnership and seamless coordination.
Data and systems - Single source of truth for asset data, overseeing the asset management system implementation and ongoing optimisation.
Sustainability - Decarbonisation plans, grant funding, EPC C by 2030 and net zero delivery.
Compliance and safety - Regulatory standards, fire remediation, contractor governance, and quality.
Estate planning - Neighbourhood improvement, land and commercial asset optimisation.
People leadership - Building and developing a multi-disciplinary team across dispersed locations.
Who we are looking for.
Senior leadership experience - With expertise in property, real estate, asset management or housing managing
Budgetary responsibility - in excess of £25 million.
A data-driven mindset - Developing Asset Investment Plans and using evidence to shape strategy and hold programmes to account.
Strong commercial acumen - Budgets, forecasting, procurement and contract management are critical, with a sharp focus on appropriate risk management.
Large scale property portfolio - Experience managing 25000 + unit portfolio
Asset Management Systems - Previously building, maintaining or utilising MRI, MaintainX, Joblogic, Planon, Maximo or similar.
