Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Alloy Wheel Technician specialising in powder coating to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing alloy wheels to the highest standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive aesthetics and fabrication, seeking to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure quality finishes and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Prepare alloy wheels for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required
Operate powder coating equipment to apply durable, high-quality finishes on alloy wheels
Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and surface preparation tasks
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist with minor fabrication or repair tasks as needed within the workshop setting
Follow detailed instructions and safety procedures during all stages of the coating process

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience using hand and power tools
Previous experience in powder coating, body shop work, tyre fitting, mechanics would be advantageous
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical ability to handle materials and operate equipment safely throughout shifts

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise in automotive finishing techniques within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
