Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team at Cofton for 20-30 hours per week with a combination of morning and evening work.
An interest in Diabetes management, including insulin initiation and titration, is desirable and previous General Practice Nurse experience essential.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for ensuring that all nursing care delivered to the practice population is relevant, of a high standard, and effective. The nurse will work as a team member to provide an optimum level of care delivery to patients, and maintain responsibility for the nursing components of care.
Overview of Cofton Medical Centre
We are a forward-thinking Practice based in West Heath (South Birmingham). Our practice team consists of 6 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, an Advanced Clinical Practioner, 4 Nurses ,3 HCAs, 1 GPA and 14 administrative staff members. Together we provide a high standard of person centered care.
We are a teaching and training practice, aligned with the University of Birmingham and University Hospitals Birmingham. Our latest CQC inspection rated us as Good in all areas.
