Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and highly organised person to oversee the day-to-day operations of B4 Car Park. Based in Birmingham city centre, you will be joining a small team for a varied and hands-on role that combines elements of administration, customer service and site management.

The successful candidate will be a confident problem solver with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently using their own initiative.

Duties

Manage the smooth daily operation of the car park using multiple web-based management systems
Respond professionally to customer emails and enquiries
Investigate and resolve customer queries and parking issues
Set up and manage parking permits
Review and monitor CCTV footage when required
Handle confidential customer information responsibly
Approve invoices and assist with budget management
Compile reports and provide regular updates to Directors
Build positive relationships with local hotels and partner businesses
Monitor pay machines, barriers, and other operational equipment
Conduct regular inspections and site checks.
Report faults and coordinate repairs with contractors
Carry out regular testing of building systems
Replenish site supplies including receipt rolls, leaflets, and cleaning materials
Assist with setting up and improving operational systems

Skills

Previous experience in a customer service or supervisory role
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
A flexible and responsible approach to work
Confidence working independently and solving problems proactively
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Experience using web-based management systems

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
