Overview
Metal Roofing & Cladding are a sheet metal fabrication and roll form manufacturer based in Kidderminster.
We are looking for an experienced setter / operator to work as part of our production team, on CNC Amada Brake Presses.
This a physical role requiring good communication skills.
Bendcam software experience would be ideal.
We specialise in aluminium and thin guage steel fabrication, experience of working with these materials is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Using a guillotine to cut blank sheets to required dimensions
- Setting the tooling within the press
- Maintaining a tidy workspace
- Assisting in the bending of parts on the Amada break press
- Checking blanks are cut to requirements before folding parts to drawings
- Sorting parts for packing and dispatch
