Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our establishment, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to enhance the overall appearance of the establishment.
Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain hygiene standards.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure the timely availability of clean linens.
Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Pay will be in line with the UK Government’s National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, based on the employee’s age.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated time frames.
Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
