Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Shisha/Bar Attendants to join our team in three available roles. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant hospitality environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry, particularly in a culturally rich setting. All roles are paid positions, suitable for individuals who are passionate about delivering memorable experiences to our guests. We are particularly looking for individuals from the ages ranges of 18-20 years old.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Prepare and serve shisha pipes according to established health and safety standards
Assisting with all bar duties
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the lounge, adhering to food safety regulations
Assist guests with menu selections, offering recommendations where appropriate
Manage table service efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
Restock supplies as needed, including shisha flavours, charcoal, and utensils
Uphold responsible alcohol service if applicable, following licensing regulations
Ensure the lounge environment remains inviting, safe, and compliant with all health guidelines

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Experience in serving or customer service roles demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
Previous bar tendering skills are desirable
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
Familiarity with time management ensures efficient service during busy periods
A friendly attitude combined with professionalism is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments and have a keen interest in hospitality. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to guest service, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
