As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences through attentive service, detailed knowledge of our food and wine menu.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus while ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, offering recommendations and upselling items where appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet our high standards.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to assist guests with their selections.
- Ensure that tables are set correctly and maintained throughout the dining experience, including clearing plates and refilling drinks as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively to ensure that all guests receive timely attention without compromising quality of service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential, preferably in fine dining establishments.
- Basic maths skills are required for processing bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology will be advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- A commitment to food safety practices is essential to ensure the wellbeing of our guests.
