Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Part Time/Casual Removal Driver/Porter and become a vital part of our moving and logistics operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture, equipment, and other items to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including <PERSON> drivers or similar commercial trucks, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
Assist with loading and unloading items, demonstrating strength and proper lifting techniques to handle heavy objects efficiently.
Communicate clearly with customers to coordinate delivery times, address questions, and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs throughout your shift.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly.
Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation to ensure safe delivery at all times.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize inventory and prepare items for transport.

Requirements

Proven delivery driver experience or familiarity with commercial driving roles.
Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent with a clean driving record.
Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
Flexibility to work part-time or casual hours, including weekends if needed.
