We are a busy stone company based in Bishop’s Stortford looking for an experienced Stone Sawyer / Bridge Saw Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will have experience working with stone fabrication and be confident operating a Terzago CNC bridge saw (experience with similar machinery will be considered).
Responsibilities:
- Operating a Terzago bridge saw to cut natural stone, porcelain, and engineered stone accurately
- Reading drawings and cutting lists
- Measuring, setting up, and checking finished pieces to high standards
- Working safely and efficiently in a stone workshop environment
- Maintaining machinery and keeping the work area clean and organised
- Supporting the wider stone fabrication team when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in stone cutting/fabrication is essential
- Experience operating a Terzago bridge saw or similar machinery
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and willing to take pride in their work
