EcoBuilders.Green is a design led residential building company specialising in high quality extensions, loft conversions, renovations and new builds throughout Essex.
We are entering an exciting new phase of growth, focusing on exceptional workmanship, excellent communication and building homes to the highest standards.
Our upcoming project in Hutton will be our showcase project and we are looking for an experienced Working Site Manager to help lead it and become an important part of our future.
The Role
This is a hands on leadership role for somebody who enjoys leading from the front whilst still being involved in the practical side of construction.
You will be responsible for:
- Opening and preparing site daily from 7:30am
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities
- Programming and sequencing works to ensure projects run efficiently
- Monitoring workmanship and maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Managing health and safety on site
- Planning ahead for materials, labour and upcoming stages
- Ensuring the site remains clean, organised and professional at all times
- Working closely with the Director and Operations Manager to deliver projects successfully
- Supporting direct labour when required
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Working Foreman or Senior Supervisor within residential construction
- Proven experience managing subcontractors
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of residential construction methods
- Ability to programme and sequence works effectively
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards
- Full UK driving licence

- Airtightness and building fabric principles
- Modern construction methods
- Interest in high performance homes and Passivhaus principles
