We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor polishers or carpet cleaners is advantageous
- Good organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
