An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the fantastic team at Witton Castle Country Park.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing Executive & Reception Administrator to join our growing business. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines marketing, social media management and content creation with the day-to-day administration and reception duties of a busy 5-star holiday park.
Situated within the grounds of a stunning 15th Century castle and set across 330 acres of beautiful countryside, lakes, woodland and nature reserves, Witton Castle Country Park is one of the North East’s leading holiday home and leisure destinations. As we continue to invest and develop the park, we are seeking a motivated individual who can help showcase everything our park has to offer whilst delivering exceptional customer service to our guests and holiday home owners.
The Role -
This is a diverse position where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in promoting the park, creating engaging marketing content, supporting sales activity and providing a professional front-of-house service within our reception and administration team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
- Managing and growing the park’s social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Creating engaging content including photography, videos, reels and promotional campaigns.
- Planning, filming and editing short-form video content for social media platforms.
- Designing advertisements, flyers, posters, brochures and promotional materials using Canva or similar design software.
- Assisting with email marketing campaigns and website content updates.
- Promoting park events, holiday breaks, holiday home ownership opportunities and on-park facilities.
- Monitoring social media performance and identifying opportunities to increase engagement, enquiries and reach.
- Assisting with digital advertising campaigns across Meta platforms and other marketing channels.
- Supporting the wider sales and marketing strategy across the business.
- Capturing and editing high-quality photographs and videos of holiday homes, park facilities, events and the surrounding estate.
Reception & Administration
- Providing a professional and welcoming reception service to guests, owners and visitors.
- Meeting and greeting customers and assisting with enquiries.
- Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails and correspondence.
- Processing bookings, enquiries and customer information accurately.
- Maintaining filing systems and company records.
- Assisting with banking, cash handling and general office administration.
- Updating and maintaining tourist information and promotional displays.
- Ensuring the reception and office areas are maintained to a high standard at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent social media knowledge and understanding of current digital marketing trends.
- Experience creating engaging content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
- Ability to create and edit short-form video content including reels and promotional videos.
- Experience designing marketing materials using Canva or similar graphic design software.
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media advertising would be advantageous.
- Photography and video editing experience would be highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- A positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for marketing, creativity and delivering excellent customer experiences.

This role will involve some weekend and bank holiday working as part of the normal working week to support the needs of the business.
Salary: Competitive and dependent upon experience.
