Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer specialising in signage to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in digital and print design, with the ability to develop visually compelling signage that aligns with branding and marketing strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from conceptualisation to final execution, ensuring high-quality visual communication across various platforms.

Extensive training will be provided to allow for a streamlined onboarding process.

Duties

Design and produce eye-catching signage for both indoor and outdoor applications, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into engaging visual designs.
Utilise industry-standard software such as SIGNLAB and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Implement branding guidelines across all signage projects to maintain visual coherence.
Prepare files for print production or digital deployment, ensuring accuracy in colour profiles, resolution, and format specifications.
Stay updated with the latest trends in graphic design, signage technology, and digital marketing to bring innovative ideas into projects.
Assist in content management systems such as WordPress for web-based signage solutions.
Participate in client presentations and provide clear visual explanations of design concepts.

Experience

Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing signage projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), along with familiarity with SIGNLAB
Knowledge of photography principles and video editing techniques to enhance multimedia signage content.
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress for digital signage integration.
Strong understanding of branding principles, UI design, marketing strategies, and presentation skills.
Previous experience working on both print and digital media is highly advantageous. This role offers an engaging environment where creativity meets technical expertise to produce impactful signage solutions that elevate brand presence across multiple channels.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Glasgow G44 4BX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Are you willing to learn how to use an Industry standard software in your own time to make sure you understand how to use SIGNLAB. The principles are similar to Illustrator. There are youtube videos to help with this.
