Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Telehandler Operator and play a vital role in our construction and logistics operations! In this energetic position, you will operate a versatile telehandler — a powerful machine equipped with an extendable boom — to lift, move, and position materials efficiently across job sites. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment will ensure smooth operations, safety, and productivity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of construction projects, supporting teams with precision and reliability.

Responsibilities

Safely operate telehandlers to lift, transport, and position materials at various heights and distances on construction sites or warehouses
Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler to ensure optimal functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate attachments such as forks or buckets
Coordinate with site managers and other equipment operators to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic repairs when necessary
Support other heavy machinery operations like excavators when required, ensuring seamless workflow across equipment types

Experience

Proven experience operating telehandlers in a commercial or construction environment
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for operating heavy machinery on job sites
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and identify potential issues early
Familiarity with excavators and their operational requirements is a plus
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and site protocols
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus and safety awareness
