Job Summary

Are you a passionate coffee professional ready to take the next step in your hospitality career? Liv Caffé is seeking a skilled and motivated Café Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help lead our vibrant local hub!

At Liv Caffé, we take pride in serving high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, and delicious treats in a welcoming environment. As a Café Supervisor, you will be key to driving shift excellence, supporting team development, and delivering an unparalleled customer experience alongside our Café Manager.

Responsibilities

Floor Leadership: Lead by example on the floor during daily shifts—crafting exceptional specialty coffee, managing the floor flow, and stepping in during peak hours.
Shift Management: Run smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, and delegation of tasks across the shift.
Team Support & Onboarding: Help train, mentor, and guide baristas, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-energy working environment.
Quality Assurance: Maintain strict standards for coffee quality, food safety, hygiene, and full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Customer Experience: Act as a key point of contact on the floor for customer feedback, resolving issues quickly and building strong community rapport.
Stock & Equipment Maintenance: Support stock control, daily inventory counts, waste tracking, and basic maintenance/cleaning of coffee equipment.
Managerial Support: Assist the Café Manager with administrative tasks, shift scheduling, and implementing promotional initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of barista experience in a high-volume specialty coffee or café environment, with previous supervisory or senior barista experience preferred.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead by example, direct shift flow confidently, handle busy rushes calmly, and support team members.
Coffee Expertise: Strong technical barista skills, including dialing in espresso, latte art, and maintaining high beverage standards.
Communication: Great interpersonal skills with an approachable attitude for both customers and staff.
Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness, organization, speed of service, and presentation.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
