Full job description

Sales / Customer Service Executive – Role Overview

Reporting directly to the sales manager, the successful candidate will take inbound sales enquiries from our suite of e-commerce stores, provide an exceptional customer experience and ultimately convert those queries in sales. The role also involves developing relationships with valuable trade customers to build our trade business.

This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week.

The role is office based on the White Lund Industrial Estate in Morecambe.

Hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

Business Overview

UK Bathroom Store is an established e-commerce retailer of bathrooms which is now over 19 years old. In this highly competitive retail vertical, we have the backup of our sister company which has a full retail showroom, both displaying and stocking some of the key brands in the industry. Growing year on year we are now looking to take the business to the next level, and with the recent addition of our own brand we need an ambitious and confident individual to help us achieve our goals.

Job Specification

· Take inbound queries by e-mail, phone and live chat.

· Give the customer an exceptional buying experience by providing advice, product detail and removing any barriers from purchase.

· Providing quotations and processing resulting sales.

· Developing relationships with trade customers and building your own trade customer base.

· Dealing with customer service enquiries where necessary to ensure the customer experience is industry leading, even when things go wrong.

The Candidate Must

· A natural sales and people person.

· Extremely confident with IT skills.

· Competent with Outlook, Web browsing, Excel and Word.

· Have exceptional communication skills both with the spoken and written word.

· Have good maths skills and be able to make simple calculations in excel.

· Team Player – We are a small tight knit team, and you must be able to work and communicate, confidently across team members (sales, purchasing, finance etc)

The Candidate should ideally

· Have experience or knowledge of the bathroom industry and its products (training can be provided for the right candidate)

· Be pro-active, be able to spot sales opportunities and act upon them.

· Have an eye for detail.

· Be well organised.

· The capacity to analyse, plan and organise your work in order to achieve multiple goals in a fast-paced environment.

· Have previous sales / customer service experience.

· Be a real team player.
