Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, supporting chefs to ensure smooth daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and kitchen management. The role is suitable for those with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality. Immediate start. This is not a live in position.

Duties

Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff
Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept clean and organised throughout the shift
Supporting the movement of ingredients and supplies around the kitchen
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with health and safety policies
Restocking supplies and ensuring cleaning equipment is maintained properly
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment

Pay: £11.00-£12.25 per hour
