Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and dynamic Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, supervise staff, and uphold the highest standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with leadership qualities and a passion for hospitality to contribute to a thriving team in a fast-paced environment. The Duty Manager will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, resolving guest concerns, and supporting team members to deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Oversee the smooth running of daily operations across all departments, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Supervise and support staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency
Monitor health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing development opportunities for existing team members
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and inventory control
Act as a point of contact during shifts to resolve any operational issues promptly and effectively

Skills

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with international guests
Knowledge of human resources practices including staff training and conflict resolution
Experience in hotel operations or hospitality management is preferred
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Confident communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; additional languages are advantageous
Own transport advantageous

This role is ideal for proactive individuals who thrive in a customer-focused environment and possess strong leadership qualities. The Duty Manager will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
