Caterfood SW Ltd is an independently run foodservice business supplying frozen food, catering products, and distribution services across the South West. We are proud to deliver a reliable, high-quality service to our customers, and we are now looking for two experienced Warehouse Supervisors to help lead our nightshift operation.
The Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and support the nightshift warehouse team to ensure customer orders are picked, checked, loaded, and dispatched accurately, safely, and on time.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be visible on the warehouse floor, coordinating the team, keeping the shift organised, and stepping in where needed to maintain pace, accuracy, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, organise, and motivate the nightshift warehouse team
- Ensure all customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently
- Oversee order checking, loading, and route preparation for dispatch
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and accuracy
- Monitor team performance and ensure work is completed on time
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for results
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and well-organised working environment
- Ensure health & safety and food safety procedures are followed at all times
- Support continuous improvement across the warehouse operation
About You
We are looking for someone with experience leading a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or similar fast-paced operation.
You will be confident giving clear direction, managing performance, and keeping a team focused during a busy shift. You will take pride in high standards, accuracy, and safe working practices, while also being willing to get involved and support the team when needed.
