Full job description

You will be in charge of the day to day running of a busy convenience store .

This includes;

- Serving customers face to face ensuring the customer needs are satisfied, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service.

- Knowledge in chill,ambient and frozen products

- Warm welcoming and greeting all customers .

- Entering all sales through the epos system and ensuring daily sales targets are met.

- Cash handling/ taking card payments

- Accepting and packing all online orders to be delivered or posted

- Daily up keeping of the shop ensuring all products are facing forward, well stocked and clean.

- Opening / closing of shop

- Building rapport with customers

- cleaning up the store at business closing timings

- working on Camelot and paypoint terminals

You must have;

- Excellent customer service skills

- Previous retail experience customer facing

- Knowledge on using lottery and pay-point terminals.

- must have knowledge on “THINK 25?”

- Ability to lift and sort deliveries on weekly basis.

- Motivated & hard working.

- Excellent merchandising skills

- Ability to work on your own initiative

- Organised & well presented

- Ensure you adhere with all health and safety procedures

- Liaise with your manager in regards to stock control/ repairs/ unlocking.

- Must be flexible (mostly evenings preferred )

- Knowledge on e-commerce websites would be preferred (training will be given )
