The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Nightshift Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing operation.
You’ll lead our nightshift team, ensuring that all multi-temperature goods are received, picked, loaded, and despatched safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on supervisory role — you’ll be actively involved in warehouse operations, including manual handling and loading/unloading vehicles, while supporting and guiding the team throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all nightshift warehouse activities.
- Lead and motivate a small team of operatives to achieve performance and safety targets.
- Carry out hands-on warehouse duties, including manual handling, picking, and loading vehicles.
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded accurately and safely for delivery.
- Maintain stock accuracy and ensure temperature control and food safety standards are upheld.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital records accurately.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and promote a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with transport and day teams to ensure smooth handovers.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse environment (temperature-controlled or food logistics preferred).
- A hands-on, proactive leader who leads by example and takes pride in doing things right.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling as part of daily duties.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence with no major convictions (required).
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).

Pay: Up to £16.35 per hour
