Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Stone Saw Operator and become a vital contributor to precision fabrication processes. In this role, you will operate specialized stone cutting equipment, ensuring the accurate and efficient sizing of natural and engineered stone materials. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality products that meet exact specifications, supporting our commitment to craftsmanship and excellence. Responsibilities

Safely operate stone saws and related fabrication machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated cutting processes
Set up and calibrate equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and SolidWorks models to ensure precise cuts
Handle materials efficiently, utilizing hand tools, tooling, and materials handling equipment to move and position stone slabs or blocks
Perform routine maintenance on saws and machinery to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and basic math calculations to determine cutting dimensions and angles
Assist with assembly, welding, or finishing tasks as needed to prepare finished products for shipment or installation
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, milling, or working with heavy materials in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Mechanical knowledge of tools, machinery, and materials handling techniques
Familiarity with CAD software, SolidWorks, or similar design programs for setup purposes
Ability to operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated equipment control
Skilled in using hand tools, welding equipment, and various tooling for fabrication tasks
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Prior warehouse experience with an emphasis on safety, organization, and efficiency
Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
