Job Title: Site Manager – Fitout Specialist (QSR / McDonald’s)

We take existing restaurants and transform them – front of house, back of house, kitchen reconfigurations, branding refreshes, and full strip-outs. The Role:
We are looking for a Site Manager who knows how to deliver a McDonald’s fitout efficiently and safely – often while the store remains partially open, or during reduced trading hours. You’ll manage trades, materials, and programmes in tight, live environments where downtime equals lost revenue.
Key Responsibilities (McDonald’s specific):
- Programme management – coordinate works to fit around store trading windows (e.g. daytime soft-fit, evening deep-fit, occasional night closures).
- Live environment control – manage dust, noise, access, and segregation so crew can work safely on one side while fitout happens on the other.
- Brand finish compliance – enforce McDonald’s exacting standards (flooring, stainless steel, digital menu boards, anti-microbial surfaces, brand colours).
- Logistics in compact spaces – plan deliveries around freezer bays, store materials in small back-of-house areas, coordinate skips in shared retail car parks.
- Trade coordination – lead ceiling fixers, floor layers, electricians, plumbers, and kitchen equipment installers to a tight handover date.
- Snagging & handover – deliver a clean, fully operational restaurant ready for the next day’s breakfast trade.
What We Need from You:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on fitout or refurbishment projects – ideally QSR, retail, or hospitality.
- McDonald’s fitout experience highly desirable – you understand kitchen flow (Fried Product Station, Dispense Wall, front counter capacity).
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid.
- Comfortable working across day and evening shifts (not exclusively nights, but occasional late finishes when required).
- Ability to work fast without cutting corners – McDonald’s schedules are tight, and finish quality is everything.
Bonus (strongly preferred):
- Experience with McDonald’s UK construction teams or “Experience of the Future” (EOTF) upgrades.
- Background in flooring changes (LVT, quarry tile, anti-slip finishes) in a food-service environment.
