Position: Fish and Chip Shop Fryer
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal
Pay Rates: Up to £12.71 per hour depending on age

Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Fish and Chip Shop Fryer.

We are seeking a Fish Frying Superstar to join our team at Cook’s Fish & Chips! If you’re ready to bring your skills to the fryer and create golden, crispy goodness, this is the role for you! As our Fryer, you’ll be the one perfecting each dish, making sure every bite is packed with flavour and that our guests leave with smiles (and full bellies!). This is the perfect job for someone who’s got a love for great food, an eye for detail, and the drive to keep things sizzling in a fast-paced kitchen. Come join us in serving up the tastiest fish & chips in town!

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, coat, and fry fish, chips, and other menu items following precise recipes and cooking techniques to achieve the perfect texture and flavour.
Work closely with the team to ensure prompt service and help maintain a positive experience for every guest.
Maintain a clean and organised frying station, ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
Monitor frying times, temperatures, and portion sizes to maintain consistent quality and presentation in every order.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18+ due to health and safety regulations for operating hot kitchen equipment.
Previous experience as a Fish Fryer or in a similar fast-food or kitchen role is a plus.
Strong attention to detail to ensure quality, consistency, and food safety

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
