South Beach Street Food is an exciting new street food destination opening on Blackpool Promenade, bringing together multiple food concepts, bars, entertainment and a vibrant customer experience in one unique venue.
We are currently recruiting Kitchen Assistants to join our team across a variety of food containers and kitchen operations.
The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our chefs and kitchen teams in delivering high-quality food while maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards.
Duties may include:
- Basic food preparation
- Assisting during busy service periods
- Washing up and equipment cleaning
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Stock rotation and storage
- Supporting chefs with day-to-day kitchen tasks
- General kitchen housekeeping
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment and applicants should be comfortable working under pressure during busy service periods.

- Available to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Applicants must be 16+
Desirable
- Previous kitchen, catering, hospitality or food service experience
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience working as a Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Porter, Food Runner, Cook or similar role
Previous experience is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

A variety of shifts are available across weekdays, evenings, weekends and event days.
Pay
Competitive rates of pay, with rates based on age and experience. All successful applicants will receive pay above the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage rates.
Seasonal Employment
These positions are based within a seasonal operation; however, this is not just a summer job. South Beach Street Food operates across an extended season each year, providing opportunities for longer-term employment and returning seasonal work.
