Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant for a part-time role based in the UK. This position plays a vital role in supporting our accounting team by managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in our clients' accounts.
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
Support the team with data entry, filing, and administrative tasks related to accounting.
Assist in the transition towards a paperless office by digitizing documents.
Collaborate with clients to resolve account discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounts payable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of IT systems supporting paperless accounting practices is a plus.
