Full job description

HGV Class 2 Waste Tank & Toilet Servicing Operative (Summer FTC)

Location: Site Event, Hampshire
Hours: 45 hours per week (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Salary: Competitive + Overtime

£220 per day on weekends

£190 per day midweek on live events

£150 per day standard midweek day

Plus bonuses & other overtime

Contract: Fixed Term (Summer Season) with potential to become permanent
Shifts: Flexible shifts, including weekends and event-based working

Join Site Event this summer and play a key role in delivering essential services at some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals, sporting events, and outdoor shows.

You’ll be out on the road, on-site, and part of a team that keeps events running smoothly. If you perform well, there is a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position beyond the season.

What you’ll be doing

Driving and operating HGV Class 2 vehicles across events and sites
Servicing and emptying tanks, cesspits, and portable toilets
Supporting event builds, live operations, and breakdowns
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance
Representing the business professionally on-site and with customers
Supporting yard and transport operations when required

What we’re looking for

HGV Class 2 licence (or above)
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
A flexible, reliable approach, especially during peak event periods
Strong work ethic with a hands-on attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts
