Full job description

We’re looking for a passionate, hardworking Baker to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for producing a wide range of fresh bakery products to the highest standards while maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of bakery products including breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and savoury items.
Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality.
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
Decorate and finish products where required.
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed.
Keep the bakery clean, tidy, and well organised.
Assist with stock rotation, ingredient management, and ordering when required.
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Support with new product development and seasonal specials.

What We’re Looking For

Previous baking experience is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate.
A genuine passion for baking and creating high-quality products.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and busy periods when required.
