Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our Residential Property services, Slater Heelis is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our expanding team in Chester.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, award-winning law firm that combines the quality and ambition of a larger practice with the supportive and collaborative culture of a people-focused business. Our expansion into Chester represents a significant opportunity for lawyers who want the chance to play a key role in the growth of our presence in the region, working alongside an established and successful Property team while benefiting from the backing, scale and opportunities that come with being part of the wider Lawfront group.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Remortgages
Transfers of equity
New build transactions
Shared ownership matters
Right to Buy transactions
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors
Providing practical, commercial advice and exceptional client service throughout the transaction

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Is a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer – 5 years + PQE
Has experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
Builds trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts
Has excellent organisation and attention to detail
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
Is committed to delivering an outstanding client experience
Is excited by the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Chester presence
