Sunrise Facilities Management is a trusted provider of comprehensive facilities management solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services tailored to meet our clients' needs. As part of our growth, we are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Job Purpose

The Finance Assistant will support the Finance function in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s financial activities. The role requires attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Payable and Receivable.

- Process supplier invoices, payments and customer receipts.

- Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.

- Generate and send client invoices.

Bank Reconciliations:

- Reconcile bank statements against internal records.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Payroll Support:

- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.

- Ensure employee expense claims are accurate and authorized.

Financial Reporting:

- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.

- Assist in creating financial reports and summaries for management.

Compliance and Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

- Assist with VAT returns and other statutory submissions.

General Administrative Support:

- Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

- Experience in a similar finance or accounts role.

- Proficiency in accounting software (ideally Xero and Microsoft Office, especially Excel).

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good organisational and time management skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
