A Fantastic Opportunity to come join our Apprentice Program - We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the supervision and care of children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures
- Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children at all times
- Engage with children through play, conversation, and educational activities to encourage their curiosity and development
- Support the team with daily routines such as meal times, nappy changing, and outdoor play
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and guardians regarding children's progress and wellbeing
- Participate in ongoing training programmes to develop knowledge of early childhood education and childcare best practices
- Assist in managing nursery resources efficiently and responsibly
Qualifications
- Experience with children or in childcare settings is desirable but not essential; a genuine interest in early childhood education is required
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with management and leadership qualities
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- A proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth within the childcare sector
