Join Our Team at Cotham Pharmacy: Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant

Position: Pharmacy Assistant
Hours: 28 hours per week
Location: Cotham Pharmacy BS6 6LD, a family-run community pharmacy
Salary: Competitive, starting from £12.71 per hour, based on skills and experience

Role Overview:

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial dual role in our pharmacy at the counter and behind the scenes. You will support our dispensing processes while providing exceptional customer service as well as shop floor management. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with healthcare sales and provide advice on minor ailments.
Work closely with the supervising pharmacist and the entire pharmacy team to develop your skills.
Maintain high standards of literacy and numeracy.
Promote and deliver pharmacy services, identifying opportunities to enhance customer care.
Perform independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent planning and organisational skills.
Handle high-pressure situations with confidence and efficiency.
Shop floor management
Stock management

Essential Skills:

Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Desire to go the extra mile for patients and provide outstanding healthcare service.
NVQ Level 1 qualification in Pharmacy Dispensing (NVQ Level 1 candidates who are keen to progress will be considered). - Desirable skill
