Job Summary

Are you practical, hardworking and enjoy working outdoors in all seasons? We are looking for an enthusiastic Estate Worker to join our Grounds team and help maintain Bryanston's beautiful school estate, including woodlands, gardens, lawns, paddocks and wider grounds.

Working as part of a dedicated team and reporting to the Head of Woods and Gardens, you will play a key role in ensuring our exceptional estate is presented to the highest standard throughout the year.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining lawns, grassed areas, roads, paths and driveways using a range of grounds maintenance equipment.
Caring for gardens, borders and bedding displays through weeding, watering, pruning and general horticultural work.
Supporting the upkeep of paddocks and arenas, including minor fence and gate repairs.
Undertaking forestry and woodland management work during the winter months, including tree and undergrowth clearance.
Working safely and contributing to the ongoing care and improvement of Bryanston's unique estate.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, forestry, estate work or a similar practical outdoor environment. You will be:

A team player with a positive and flexible approach.
Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
A good communicator with excellent customer service skills.
In possession of a full, clean driving licence.
