Are you curious about what makes guests choose, visit, spend and return? We are looking for a Commercial Insights Analyst to help Longleat's Attractions ( Longleat, Cheddar Gorge and Shearwater) better understand guest behaviour, visitation patterns and spend, using data to support experience design, commercial optimisation and smarter operational decision-making.
This is a new and important role within our Commercial team, providing dedicated insight across admissions, ticketing, pricing, memberships, accommodation, retail, food and beverage, marketing and digital channels. You will help create one clear view of commercial performance and turn complex data into practical recommendations that improve both the guest experience and business performance.
As Commercial Insights Analyst, you will use data to tell the story behind how guests engage with Longleat. You will analyse ticketing, footfall, retail, food and beverage, digital and customer behaviour data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. You will build clear dashboards, reports and insight packs that help teams understand performance, track guest journeys, improve conversion and make better decisions around pricing, promotions, yield, product development and seasonal activity. Working closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Finance colleagues you will support a fast-paced, guest-focused environment where insight directly shapes the visitor experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analyse guest behaviour, visitation patterns, ticketing, footfall, spend, conversion and satisfaction data.
- Build dashboards, reports and insight packs that provide a consistent view of commercial and operational performance.
- Support pricing, promotions, yield management, memberships and product decisions through data-driven insight.
- Identify trends and opportunities across admissions, accommodation, retail, food and beverage, marketing and digital channels.
- Work with operational teams to improve efficiency, guest flow, dwell time and the overall visitor experience.
- Provide insight to support new attraction launches, experience redesigns, seasonal events and commercial growth plans.
- Support segmentation, forecasting, performance modelling and benchmarking activity.
- Help improve data quality, reporting standards and the use of business intelligence tools across the business.
About you:
You will be analytical, commercially curious and confident turning data into clear stories that non-technical colleagues can use. You will enjoy working with different teams, asking good questions and using insight to improve both performance and the guest experience.
You may already have experience in leisure, hospitality, visitor attractions, retail, ecommerce or another multi-site consumer environment, but most importantly you will bring strong analytical ability, commercial awareness and a practical collaborative approach.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience analysing commercial, customer, sales, pricing, marketing or operational performance data.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using BI or dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working with large or multi-source datasets, such as ticketing, EPOS, CRM, digital, web analytics or customer data.
- Ability to communicate insight clearly to operational and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence challenging data inconsistencies.
- Commercial curiosity, with the ability to spot trends, risks and opportunities.
- SQL or more advanced data modelling experience would be an advantage.
