Event Manager (with Chef Experience)

The Street Diner is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated Events Manager to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role managing our catering operations at festivals, sporting events, shows and outdoor events across the UK. We're looking for someone who can lead a team from the front, stay calm under pressure and ensure every event runs smoothly while delivering excellent customer service.
No two days are the same, and the successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where organisation, leadership and a positive attitude are essential.
This position is initially offered on an hourly basis at £14.00 per hour, with the intention of developing the right candidate into a permanent salaried Events Manager role as the business continues to grow. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us and become a key part of our management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing catering operations on event days.
- Leading, motivating and supporting event staff.
- Ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained.
- Managing staff deployment, breaks and workflow during busy periods.
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating requirements to management.
- Completing daily paperwork, cashing up and reporting event performance.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety and company procedures.
- Liaising with event organisers and site management where required.
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism.

- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
