Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the operational efficiency of our facilities. They will ensure the Hotel's facilities, Guest rooms, Cowshed Spa and Wellness Areas are maintained in a safe, functional and high quality condition supporting a positive guest experience. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of building systems, assisting with repairs and supporting safety protocols across the site.

Responsibilities

Perform day to day repairs where required
Respond promptly to any facility request from guests and the team on site
Carry out routine inspections of rooms and guest areas
Complete scheduled maintenance tasks on a daily/weekly basis
Identify areas with potential faults before failure
Resolve in room facility issues quickly and professionally
Minimise disruption to guests during repair work
Follow all safety procedures and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with fire safety and building regulations
Maintain safe working practices and proper use of PPE
Log all facilities work and completed tasks
Report major faults or hazards to your manager
Track inventory of equipment
Good communication, guest and service skills
Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment across the hotel site
Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external contractors.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Facilities Assistant will be instrumental in ensuring our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably at all times.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
