Responsibilities
- Handling Cash counter
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively.
- Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for cash handling.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear and helpful information.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
- Excellent organisational abilities to maintain stock levels and store presentation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in helping customers find the right products for their needs.
