Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and early childhood education to children within our nursery setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The role involves managing daily activities, supporting children's development, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education frameworks
Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through personalised care and guidance
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children at all times
Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues regularly
Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play sessions
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills with children, parents, and team members
Contribute to the organisation of nursery activities, outings, and special events
Uphold all health and safety policies in accordance with regulatory standards
Assist in mentoring junior staff or trainees as required
Ensure compliance with nursery policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications

Recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare
Proven experience working within a nursery or childcare setting
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative
Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
Valid driving licence is desirable for organising outings or home visits if necessary
