We are looking for two Master Technicians to lead a small team of engineers at our major works centre.

Salary: To be discussed at interview

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of workshop staff, ensuring effective allocation of tasks.
Carry out diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance on all PSV vehicles to DVSA standards.
Support the business in maintaining fleet availability and reliability targets.
Ensure all maintenance records, defect reports, and inspection documentation are accurately completed and stored.
Oversee vehicle inspections, servicing, MOT preparations, and road testing as required.
Lead by example in promoting safe working practices and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Monitor workshop performance and report any operational or staffing issues to management.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost control within the engineering function.

Required:

5 years of recent engineering experience essential (preferably on PCV or HGV vehicles)
NVQ Level 3 in relevant engineering trade essential
Previous supervisory or team lead experience is desirable but not essential
Possession of a Full Manual car licence is essential
Possession of a PCV licence (or willing to work towards one).

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, alternating weeks of dayshift and backshift. Overtime may be required to meet company requirements.
