Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time 7.5 Tonne Driver for Friday afternoon/ evening, Saturday daytime and Monday afternoon (approx 21hrs/wk) to join our team based out of Torpoint. This role is vital for delivering laundry services efficiently to our holiday accommodation clients, supporting our goal of maintaining high standards of service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver cleaning and laundry supplies.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Loading and unloading cages as needed and collecting dirty laundry.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving license with a category C1 entitlement.
- Current CPC and Tacho card
- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles.
- Familiarity with box vehicles is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to driving and deliveries.
