Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic seasonal Instore baker to join our team. The role requires the baking of morning goods and hot food throughout the day and also providing excellent service to our customers.

Duties

Bake a variety of food items ie. pasties/sausage rolls/croissants/bread
Assist with food production, ensuring all products meet safety and quality guidelines
Cook and bake items as required, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas
Follow food safety procedures diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing information about products and assisting with their selections
Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly, reporting any maintenance issues promptly

Qualifications

Previous experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantage
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A passion for excellent customer service
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends if required
